The PDP acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum assured his party members that the PDP is not driven by influence saying the PDP is Supreme to any member.
Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum was speaking during the PDP Northeast caucus zonal meeting held in Bauchi.
He solicited for the support of the caucus members in the northeast in addressing pressing issues of the party at the National level.
The acting chairman commended the PDP Governor’s in the northeast sub-region which he said they have been committed to the development and welfare of their citizenry, Damagum also called for their corporation in bringing back the party to it’s rightful position.

Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed who spoke on behalf of the three governor’s of the sub-region call on the party caucus to remain resolute ahead of the party’s National convention.
He affirmed that untill the PDP overcome it’s internal dispute the ruling party in the country will still emerged victorious comes 2027.
The Governor assured the PDP Governor’s forum’s commitment in uniting the party under one umbrella in order to deliver the party in the 2027 up coming election.
Earlier in his welcome address the northeast PDP zonal chairman Rev. Emmanuel Bonovoa, thanked the PDP Governor’s in the zone for their stride in developing their respective states which according to him has kept the PDP flag flying high.
He appreciates members of the party across the zone for their resilience and called for more support to the party and shun all form of partisan politics.
The Senator representing Bauchi central Abdul Ahmed Ningi who spoke on behalf of the federal representatives of the party from the northeast appreciates the the efforts of the party chairman at the zonal level for working assiduously in reuniting members of the Party.
