Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency strengthens ties with the Federal Road Maintenance Agency.

Dr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, the Managing Director of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, welcomes Bauchi State’s transformation drive in Infrastructural development.

The Director was speaking when he received in audience a delegation from Bauchi State infrastructure development and maintenance Agency, led by the Director General of the Agency, Engineer Abdulrahman A. Mai’auduga, at the FERMA headquarters in Abuja.

Dr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his foresight in establishing the state infrastructure development and maintenance Agency. He emphasized the importance of the body in upholding the core values of National cohesion.

The DG expressed his appreciation for the visit and pledged to work in close collaboration with BASIDMA and in areas of mutual benefit.

Earlier while presenting the Agency before the federal Director the Director General Bauchi State infrastructure development and maintenance Agency Engineer Abdulrahman A. Mai’auduga explained that the delegation was in Abuja on a familiarization visit on the FERMA Boss and to discuss on areas of mutual interest that are beneficial to the growth and development of the federation and the sub-national.

Engineer Abdulrahman Mai’auduga added seeking FERMA’s collaboration in areas of staff training, knowledge sharing, among other areas, which will enhance infrastructure development.

He commended FERMA’s contributions in maintaining National roads and ensuring stability. He pledged to join hands with the federal agency to improve on BASIDMA operations.

The visit was the first of its kind from Sub-national, which is aimed at exploring areas of collaboration and improving service delivery.
